Hey!
I have EXACTLY the same issue, EXACTLY the same model.
Did you solve it?
Thanks!
  • Most laptops (including some models of ASUS) have these keys. Look for the Fn button and check your Laptop keys, as they have sub-options for you to adjust some settings, such as volume or the brightness. Very weak colors and pinkish after images on q551l laptop? Tried splendid with four choices with manual selection with only variation of temp.

I would update Chipset driver, and ATK package I don't know of any other software from Asus for the keyboard. Now then you could have another problem software driver that is affecting the keyboard in that case you need to start deleting programs until you find it. or back up your data, crated and disk/SSD image and then restore back factory condition and start over. Macrium Reflect Free will prevent you from losing any data. If you RMA it that is exactly what Asus Repair will do with the exception that they won't back up your data you'll just lose it. They expect that if your data is important to you that you would have it backed up.

It is necessary to adjust the sensitivity of your laptop’s keyboard to suit your needs. Different keyboard sensitivities are required to make different software and applications work on your laptop. Those who want to complete daily tasks on their computer; they should consider getting moderate sensitivity for effective and efficient completion of the tasks. Those who wish to play games and run other design applications on their laptop, they will need to get enhanced keyboard sensitivity on their laptop. If the operating system on your computer is Windows XP then adjusting the sensitivity is relatively simple.
